Whether a tournament pro or casual player, Leupolds new and innovative rangefinder, the GX-II, is an incredibly precise tool that can help to make a marked improvement on anyones golf game. With 7 pre-loaded reticle options, Leupolds exclusive PinHunter Laser Technology utilizes a combination of cutting edge microprocessing circuitry and an advanced infrared laser to accurately and consistently hunt down the pin against any background, to a maximum of 350 yards. Leupold GX-II rangefinders are the only rangefinders to provide accurate ranging information matched to the slope of the shot, current conditions, and your specific striking distance. True Golf Range is an adjusted range that will compensate for uphill shots that play long and downhill shots that play short. TGR is calculated from the laser measured line-of-sight distance, incline or decline, trajectory of the ball, and current temperature and altitude to display the adjusted range to play. For example, if you have a lie 150 yards from the pin, but the green falls 6 degrees above your ball, you will need to play the shot as if it is 164 yards. TGR automatically accounts for each factor and displays the appropriate distance to play. The Club Selector feature, when activated, takes TGR a step further. Factoring your specific striking distance and TGR to the target, the Club Selector will automatically recommend the appropriate club for each shot, even indicating when the distance falls between clubs. Simply input the striking distance for 3 specific clubs and the GX-II will do the rest, accurately recommending the correct club.
