Amazon.com Review The Weber One-Touch Silver kettle grill is perfect for anyone who wants a well-designed, no-nonsense grill that cooks up food deliciously. Perfect for backyard barbecues or just whipping up an evening meal, this impressive grill has a cooking surface (22-1/2 inches in diameter) big enough to accommodate six large steaks, twice as many burgers, or up to a dozen kebabs. And the One-Touch Silver's classic kettle shape radiates heat evenly and keeps charcoal flare-ups to a minimum. The barbecue pioneers at Weber--they've been making grills since 1951--know how to design a grill that lasts. The One-Touch Silver's porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's hardware is of the highest quality. The aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust, and the grill's tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels combine to make this Weber both exceptionally sturdy and easy to maneuver. Weber's patented One-Touch cleaning system--a clever setup of lever-activated blades--sifts ash out of the kettle and into the grill's removable catch pan. You never have to get your hands dirty--and emptying the kettle takes only a few seconds. For those in search (or need) of culinary guidance, Weber includes a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens.
Product Description This is the Grill with which the Weber Legend took hold and now this familiar shape of the Bar-B-Kettle is a backyard icon. This 18-1/2" grill is a favorite of apartment dwellers and small families alike. Easy cleaning with the exclusive One-Touch Cleaning system: the lever opens and closes all three bottom vents and sweeps out ashes. Heavy Gauge Porcelain Enameled Steel Lid & Bowl Smartly designed with three no-rust vents on the bowl and one on the lid allow for proper air flow. Ash catcher can be removed for easy ash disposal. Heat Resistant Nylon Handles On Lid & Bowl

Weber grill review June 5, 2008 I have been a long time user of a Weber charcoal grill and just love this new one. Once you've owned one and learn how to use it the grill consistently performs time and time again. Its size is perfect for a small family, easy to store and overall is a wonderful product.
Great grill. May 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A great little grill, works just a described. The secret to the coals burning just right is the adjuster at the bottom of the unit that allows fresh air to the coals when the cover is in place. And, when you're finished grilling, just cover it up, close the lower vent and the cols will extinguish and be usable on another occasion. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble it, and it looks great on my patio.
Weber 18.5 inch grill April 18, 2008 Excellent results! Plenty of cooking space for an average family or get together. Lower and upper vents were about half way open creating a nice draft to keep the charcoal going and imparting that wonderful smokey aroma and taste on the food. Of course, leaving the domed lid on the grill made the food cook faster while imparting the flavor of the charcoal. No flares up either!
Once both vents were closed the charcoal was quickly extinguished. The coals at this point had pretty much given their all, but the closed vents sped up the cool down period.
This is a great heavy weight grill without being too heavy to transport and the two wheels made for easy rolling once I had picked my grilling spot.
For traditional charcoal grilling I just don't think this grill can be beat. When I've used up my supply of regular Kingsford charcoal I'd like to try the hickory briquets! I'm sure the Weber will perform with just as great results. Nice price and won't break the bank when one of these are purchased. Well made for many many years of grilling.
Outstanding November 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I always thought this was an oddball size--in between the Smokey Joe and the full-size 22 1/2 inch kettle. It's actually perfect for a small family. It has plenty of room for burgers and steaks with decent room for indirect cooking too. Wish I'd purchased this long ago--definitey not just for 1st-time buyers or inexperienced grillers, this is a for-real Weber prduct (the best name in grilling). Very nice product.
Good Cookin' October 28, 2007 First meal fixed was grilled steak and boy was it delicious. Even though I got it more done than I usually like, it had a smoked flavor to knock your socks off! Easy clean up. I like my Weber.
