5 out of 5 stars OUTSTANDING Live Reggae.   May 7, 2004

Eek-A-Mouse just might be one of the more unique reggae artists out there, and this live album displays his unique style with one of the best backing bands I've ever heard in the Sagittarius Band. "Intro/Ganja Smuggling" blows the studio version away with a much better synth rhythm and beat. As for the song itself, it might be yet another reggae song about marajiuana on the surface, but at the heart of it, it's about the pressures of life in lower-class communities in Jamaica and how smuggling only makes the situation worse. By far, "Ganja" is the best track on the CD. Another highlight is the version of "Wa-Do-Dem", however Eek's voice sounds tired out and he sounds like he wants to finish off his performance early. However, this does not spoil an already excellent album.

Michigan and Smiley's contribution to this album is less stellar than that of Eek-A-Mouse's, however, it still shines in places, especially "Rub a Dub Style", the second greatest song on the album next to "Ganja Smuggling".

Overall, this album is one of the best examples of live Reggae that you can get. A very unique and high-quality performance from Eek-A-Mouse is one to listen to if you're a fan of his work, and the Sagittarius Band backing him up is impeccable.

You're in Montego Bay Jamaica and there's No Problem. The kind of reggae that makes you chuck. Some bright faces. Brings back old memories for me.
