Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ("My Boy") and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

Album Description
CD/DVD of the debut concert of Celtic Thunder was filmed on location at the Helix in Dublin, Ireland. The special features five male vocalists (ranging from 14 to 40 - Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Paul Byrom, and George Donaldson) performing an eclectic mix of songs, ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Celtic Thunder's legendary musical director and composer Phil Coulter. Celtic Thunder roars with a 28 songlist of memorable songs including 'Raggle Taggle Gypsy','The Voyage', 'Steal Away', 'Ireland's Call', 'I Wanna Know what Love Is', 'Yesterday's Men' (bonus track) and more.

5 out of 5 stars WONDERFUL!!! Celtic Thunder CD   July 19, 2008
I bought the CD & the DVD. Their selection of music couldn't be better. Their voices are all different, but each one has an outstanding voice. I bought the DVD because too, because their charming presentations equal the wonderful music.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Music!   July 17, 2008
I purchased the CD because I had seen the Celtic Thunder video on TX PBS. I loved the video and the music and wanted to be able to hear the music in my car...Bought the CD, loved the music! They are an excellent pool of talent...Love the blond surfer guy and love the kid...How that kind of music comes out of them is beyond me...Amazing! Super talented! Highly recommend the CD and of course the DVD of their performances!

5 out of 5 stars Haven't felt this good since Dirty Dancing   July 17, 2008
Men singing and behaving as MEN. Great music. Great selections. Great harmony. Only has half the songs of the DVD. Play it every day.

5 out of 5 stars Celtic Thunder Cd   July 17, 2008
When I saw these guys on PBS, I knew I had to get their CD. They are awesome! They each have a different sound when singing individually but put them all together-WOW! And they're very easy on the eyes too! :)

5 out of 5 stars CELTIC THUNDER! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   July 15, 2008
This is a terrific cd of the PBS concert, however it doesn't have all of the songs from the PBS concert. I miss the six or seven songs that were left off, but over all still a terrific CD!!!! LOVE IT!!!
