Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars First rate studio recordings from one of Detroits premiere "live performance bands"   January 28, 2007
The Peps were a local band that packed Detroits' live-show bars and clubs in the mid-sixties. Their loyal fans considered them always "on the brink" of big success. Their sound is far more Chicago Soul (The Impressions, Jerry Butler) than the Motown Soul Sound. This collection is a worthy compilation of their work.

5 out of 5 stars Ignore Product Description   July 24, 2006
This is actually a compilation of an obscure but great group that recorded out of Detroit in the mid-sixties.
