Album Description
Bringing the timeless lyrics and melodies of iconic super group ABBA to movie audiences, this summer is the season for Mamma Mia! Meryl Streep leads an all-star cast in the feature-film adaptation of the beloved musical that has been seen by more than 30 million people in 160 cities and 8 languages around the world. Meryl Streep plays an independent, single mother and owner of a small hotel on an idyllic Greek island, about to let go of her spirited daughter whom she's raised alone. But the young bride has secretly invited some guests of her own three men from her mom's past, one of whom is the girl's biological father. Over 24 chaotic, magical hours, new love will bloom and old romances will be rekindled, in this warm and hilarious adaptation of one of the most popular musicals ever written.

4 out of 5 stars Fun and energetic   September 5, 2008
I love this CD. It brings the movie back to my mind everytime I hear it. The CD tells the story, so if you saw the movie you can simply close your eyes and see it all over again.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Music   September 5, 2008
Love It. Bought two CD's for the car and home. If you loved the movie you will enjoy the CD.

5 out of 5 stars EXCITING   September 3, 2008
This was a fun movie with unexpected singing from some of my favorite actors/actresses. Some parts were very hysterical. An absolutely joyful experience. In fact the music was so lively, I bought the soundtrack. FUN, FUN, FUN

5 out of 5 stars FEEL GOOD   September 3, 2008
Uplifting!!! You can't help tapping your feet, moving to the music and just feeling good, "All Over Your Body."

2 out of 5 stars Sub-Par, at best   September 3, 2008
Original ABBA and the musical recording (Broadway) are both far superior to this corny remake. Don't waste your money.
