Editorial Reviews:

Description
Toto formed in LA in the late 70's by a group of friends who were all much in demand session musicians. They went on to epitomize the classic American pop/rock sound of the 80's and 90's with hit albums and singles including Hold The Line, Africa, I'll Be Over You and the multi-Grammy winning worldwide hit Rosanna. This concert was recorded at Le Zenith in Paris in March 2007 in front of a wildly enthusiastic sell-out crowd. It captures the band rocking at their hardest and most powerful and giving a new life to all their best loved tracks.

4 out of 5 stars Great concert   June 16, 2008
Great concert and great filming. The band is better than ever, even though the Autotune on the voices is a bit too much!! Go TOTO!

5 out of 5 stars Different and awsome, die hard fans and musicians won`t be disapointed   June 14, 2008
I wasn't considering buying this DVD when it first came out since I really hadn't had much time to enjoy the Album Falling in Between yet. But my birthday came and gone and since I own all their material and seen them live three times, I said what the heck? I popped it in the DVD player and turned on my projector and immediately was immersed in this very entertaining experience. Not even knowing which songs were going to be played, I was pleasantly surprised by the older material. There is no doubt in my mind that the musicianship quality shines throughout the entire show and that the bands 80`s POP side is probably never coming back. I enjoyed this too! It is after all, what made this band WORLD WIDE notorious back then. If it wasn't for their hits half of all of their fans wouldn't probably never been driven to them and other bands within the PROGRESSIVE rock spectrum.
Of course a lot of albums have gone by, a lot of the bands members lives have changed and it`s expected that their music will change but the way that they execute these new arrangements is still Flawless. I think Steve, Bobby and Simon are still at the top of their game. Even after more than 30 years. For the rest of the lineup, they are a fine compliment to the band.

In a nut shell, this is another great performance by MY all time favorite band TOTO. A band MADE from EXCELLENT PROGRESSIVE MUSICIANS, w/excellent progressive tunes, FOR progressive thinking music lovers.

5 out of 5 stars not the toto I knew as a kid, but wow!   June 6, 2008
This dvd has been on my wish list for some time. I didn't get it on Amazon... I happened to notice it for 8.88 at the big box store. I couldn't pass it up! Even if you don't see it for the great deal I got it at, pick it up here! This dvd is great! The songs from Falling In Between were unfamiliar to me, but I like them a lot (yes, they are heavier than old toto, but they work very well in the live environment). The band seems to be having a great time, the lighting and stage presentation is excellent, and the song selection is very good. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this dvd, and would have been even if I had payed a higher price than I did!

5 out of 5 stars HOLY FREAKIN TOTO   June 5, 2008
Forget the studio greats getting together to form a band, forget that they have " Great Ballads", FOR GET IT.

They rock, they swoon, they reggae, they soul, they funk, the just flat tear it apart.

I have the CD of the live album right after Simon Phillips joined back in the 90's version of the band after the passing of the Jeff the great!, and that disc was at that time just stellar. This one just lapped it at over 100 mph. Jeff is smiling on his heavenly drum stool! He would be most proud.

The band is solid, the vocals are out of this world. Tony Spinner, holy crap, how did Luke snag him? SOLID ADDITION TO THE BAND DUDE.

Being a bassist myself, do we have to say more about Leland Skylar, get some of his work with the Barefoot Servants, this cat just puts the B in bottom end!

The DVD is beyond great in production.

You will keep this playing for days and days.

Hear is hoping these guys can hit the road here in the States and show the american fan base some love!

Cheers!

5 out of 5 stars can't stop watching and listening   June 2, 2008
I just purchased this on a whim,as I remembered Toto from Africa and Rosenna.I can't believe I have missed them for so long!I now know why they have a worldwide fan base. They have become my favorite band. Both the Amsterdam concert and this one are incredible shows.Simon Phillips is
the best drummer I have seen since the drummer in Rush.I can't say enough
of what a great band Toto is.Steve is one of the worlds great guitarists.
I do miss David Paigh, the original keyboard player.
