Album Description
Michigan makes a stand as one of the important new acts in the modern synthpop scene, sounding like a polished protege of De/Vision or Mesh, with plenty of Depeche Mode touches. Dramatic vocals and instrumentation combine for a great single in "Red Dawn". There are bonus remixes from fellow Swedish synthpop acts, Children Within and Backlash, plus some extra bonus tracks mixed by Michigan themselves, just for this exciting single.

To tempt all Michigan fans here is their first release on A Different Drum. I imported thier debut CD from Europe and wasn't disappointed. So to hear that ADD will be releasing their new album in the US made me a very happy fan.
This single is very strong. Red Dawn is an interesting track following along in the same vein as their previous work. Its available here on amazon. The mixes are worth listening to and provide different takes on the title track. The b-side Belong Together is brilliant and shows the strength of the band. Control of Me is another track from their forthcoming album and I look forward to hearing the original track.
Michigan provides a unique electronic sound and backs it up with insightful lyrics and very strong vocal talent. Do yourself a favor and check out this band.
