 Vesuvius will blow you away! September 15, 2008
Frank Tichelli wrote all the orchestral pieces on this CD - they are all lively and engaging, but the best one is Vesuvius - fantastic parts for all the instruments including percussion - you will feel as though you are watching the volcano erupt with this music playing.

I played the Simple Gifts movement 4 for band and fell in love with it. I was surprised when I found out there was 3 more other ones! The other 3 will still as magical and brilliant!! Not only Simple Gifts but Shenendoah is ALSO a great song. That is all the songs i actually heard from this CD. But i have listen to his other compositions and I must.. Wow.. Just wow!!
