Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Aeroplane Monthly:   March 23, 2004
Admittedly, Aeroplane Monthly's focus is on British aviation history, which may be too narrow a field for some aviation enthusiasts. What is found between its covers is well researched and written articles dealing with the history of British aviation, both civil and military. Aeroplane is extremely well illustrated, with a wealth of vintage photography as well as more recent images of the people, places, and aircraft detailed within. A great deal of historical perspective is offered by the people "who were there". Advertising, while kept to a minimum, I found actually was interesting, kept to the theme of the magazine, and aimed at the enthusiast. Overall, Aeroplane Monthly is a class act, and a much better value for the money than any of the American aviation periodicals.
