5 out of 5 stars Best Information For New & Long-Time Sheep Farmers   June 11, 2008
Sheep! Magazine is the only periodical really interested in helping real sheep people get a lot more profit.

It's NOT an "industrial" type rag that just re-prints government gobbledygook--it's always and only focused on real sheep growers and how they make good money on their own.

Lots of sheep growers from all over the world write in to Sheep! Magazine sharing their experiences, questions, updates and discoveries.

Sheep! has a world-famous vet that answers questions, a top shearer that does the same, the world's foremost predator guy, an Almanac section that tells about high-paying ethnic and religious sheep consumers--what they need and the dates they're going to buy--plus lots of price tables that help decide what to charge.

After some serious math, I figured we made about 8 times the cost of the subscription back each year, without even working at it.

I don't always agree with its editorial positions, but hey, the magazine makes me money so it's worth it. If you do purebreds, I recommend listing in the magazine, no other (for the $) even came close to their return.
