I Love Quilters Newsletter April 5, 2008 I have been a fan of Quilters Newsletter for more than 15 years and I love it. This magazine is a great resource for begining and experienced quilters. The featured quilts are stunning, and the artist interviews offer lots of inspiration.
Somewhat Disappointed April 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received my first issue of Quilters Newsletter last week. After browsing through it my first thought was that there really wasn't anything interesting in it except for the quilt on the cover of the magazine. Hopefully, subsequent issues will be better. Otherwise, I won't renew my subscription when it expires.
Up-to-Date Quilting news January 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Quilter's Newsletter provides quilters with current information about quilt shows, contests, new fabric lines, awards, etc. Helen Kelley's column is always fun to read. An article featuring a quilter and her(his)techniques is in each issue. Each month QN inludes a paper piecing block to make and also pictures of quilts made by various subscribers. I also read American Patchwork and Quilting which contains more patterns/projects, but QN is a good supplement for keeping apprised of news in the quilting world.
Quilt magazine December 17, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Terrific magazine. After many years of not quilting, I am getting back into it. Plus I have a website that offers quilts: www.BeehiveQuilts.com. This magazine helps me stay current in what is going on in the quilt world.
One of the Best quilter magazines June 7, 2007 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
i've subscribed for years, and even gone so far as to purchase older editions on EBAY. This is a terrific magazine with a lot of eye candy and good solid instructions and ideas. The cover quilts are always outstanding, great enough to frame. The instructions for these cover quilts weren't usually available but now, thanks to new copy format, all patterns are available as well as new quilting and patchwork techniques. You really can't go wrong in purchasing this magazine. It is definitely not a throw-away-at-the-end-of-the-month mag. There's a lot to offer for beginners as well as advanced quilters.
