Product Description Tokyo Flash "Barcode SS" - Looking for an L.E.D. watch that is like no other? The L.E.D.s are bigger than the Pimp line of watches, making the colors really bright and super easy to see. Like the Pimp line of watches, this watch is equipped with a light up function that starts at 6 pm and goes on to 1 am every minute. The light up function is also activated when the time button is pressed during 1 am to 6 pm for 12 minutes after. The watch runs on 2 Lithium batteries that are easy to change. The strap is Solid Stainless that was custom designed just for the watch. Very well made and very solid. The watch measures 2.8 cm across by 5.7 cm long and 1.3 cm thick.

Amazing! September 24, 2008 I got this watch about a month ago and i am gonna say that it is GREAT!!! It is made of very good material, doesn't look cheap at all. Reading the time is kinda tricky but you get used to it by the 3rd try, it is not rocket science, once u get a hold of it, you are set. Keep in mind that this is one of those LOOK AT ME gadgets, if you are cool with that, this is your thing. I bought this for that sole purpose haha and because it looks pretty hot. It has been the center of conversations every night that i have used it, everyone is all 'omg what is that, omg so cool, oh wow where you get it' and i just love that hehe. Anyway, i would highly HIGHLY recommend getting this, it is great for night outs, not so much for a daily wear.
Impossible to set the correct time July 19, 2008 Although the watch is durable and quite unique in appearance, it is still sitting in the box - I live much of the time overseas and took the watch from the US without ever trying it out - big mistake - it is impossible to set the correct time - the directions are very clear but the watch simply does not respond - watchsmith in third world country of no help - had never seen a watch like this - no practical way of returning it to Amazon - wasted $100 - I have bought many items from Amazon and never had a problem - my stupidity for not trying the watch before putting it in the luggage - I am confident it could have been returned with no problem.
Had mine for more than a year - it's great. June 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought mine over a year ago, in Tokyo (Amazon didn't have them then) and it's still going strong on the original batteries. The manual claims they should last 1 year, and it's been more like 18 months for me.
Figuring out how to read it is not difficult; I keep mine in 24-hour mode to make it a bit more interesting. :) It's a good icebreaker but the flip side of that is that it's a bit "attention-getting" which is either good or bad depending on the situation (if you don't like that, turn it around).
The only thing I wish it had were the ability to change the "every minute flash" from 6PM to 1 AM to "user defined time". C'est la vie. :) It's built like a tank (and the slots are deep enough to easily protect the LEDs; this is a VERY TOUGH watch, dispite being a very dressy watch as well. I suspect it could take a hit anywhaer from a BB gun and show little to no damage.
Yes, it does have the "Cylon Style" - that's fine. I like Battlestar and it's a nice little overtone.
Five stars for me. I only wear mine (multicolored) when I want to get a bit of attention- but that's what it's designed for and thus it is a complete success.
band not ajustable February 27, 2008 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
tokyo flash multi color barcode display men's
description did not say the cercumference of the band and it is NOT adjustable. The discription says you can just press a button to see the time, However, after pushing the button you have to wait for all the lights to flash on and off 3 - 4 times then time is displayed for a very short time.
I returned this watch because band was too big and it took too long to display the time
Nice watch... but... January 12, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
It is a well-built, cool-looking watch. However, before you buy it, make sure you look into the measurements of the watch first. It is heavy and huge! If you have big arms/wrists, then it would fit you just fine. Otherwise, you would look like a person with a home-confined cuff. It is a great watch, but not for everyone.
