The "harp" works well as a display for my earrings, making it much easier to find the pairs that get lost in a drawer. However, the long, dangling earrings get in the way of the lower rows, but the "harp" is perfect for the one inch and under lengths. The silver metal version has a matte finish which I also like.

The title of my review is practically the same as that for the Bijou necklace holder and the reasons are the same. The idea is great, it looks good, but a few more details would have made this perfect (sometimes working in engineering means you are never satisfied with the current design).
The shape is very nice, but the "silver" color is dull and seems a bit cheap looking - a chrome finish would have looked nicer, in my opinion. However, once all my earrings were on there it wasn't as noticeable. It seems sturdy as well.
One major flaw, though, is that the holes are small circles. If your earrings are mostly studs, this will not be a problem - just poke the stud through and place the backing on the other side. But most of my earrings have hooks and getting them through a small circular hole is a little bit more challenging and I think a few rows with elliptical-shaped (or, hey, simply larger!) holes would have better suited for maneuvering the hook-type earrings.
A second flaw is that all my earrings are not of equal length, so placing the rows equidistant was also not well thought-out. I would have placed each row a little farther down than the last so that shorter earrings could go on top and longer ones below, or vice versa - you get my meaning, I hope.
However, aside from those observations, like the Bijou, I researched a number of options and this was the best one in my opinion so I will say that I am happy with it...but it could be better.

This is just what I have beeen looking for - somewhere to keep ALL my earrings.At a glance, I can see the whole collection and choose which ones to wear. I came across pairs that I had forgotten about that I've had for 15-20 years. Very practical - worth the 6000 miles to the US to find it!

This was larger than I thought it would be but it was perfect. My daughter (age 10) loved it and it even holds all her dangely earings. It is a wonderful gift and very well made.

This was a great find. My mother was looking for a earring display for awhile. So, I got her this one for Christmas. She loves it. It's a bit big but it does hold about 125 pairs of earrings so what do you expect.
