Grantwood Technology presents the tuneband armband for the iPod Nano 3rd Generation (latest). The silicone skin is secure, thick and protective and allows access to all the ports on the iPod Nano. The tuneband has a comfortable stretchy Velcro band that fits both large and small arms. Also, the tuneband comes with a low tack peel screen protector. Finally, the tuneband is compatible with the Nike+iPod system, allowing you to attach the Nike+iPod receiver to the iPod. This package also includes the Shoe Pouch. The Shoe Pouch was designed by Grantwood Technology, LLC to allow runners and walkers to use the Nike+iPod Sport Kit with any type of shoe. When designing the Shoe Pouch, our primary goal was to ensure a snug fit, extensively testing it with reinforced, nylon lace loops, and a Velcro closure over the insertion slit. These designs maximize the durability of the Shoe Pouch while, most importantly, maintaining the accuracy of the Nike+ system. The Shoe Pouch matches the correct longitudinal alignment of the sensor, completely covers the sensor and attaches through the laces for excellent security. With a small, low profile, secure, neoprene design, the Shoe Pouch is the answer to using the Nike+iPod with any style of shoe. Superb product. Simple Design. July 19, 2008
I bought the pouch because I prefer Asics and New Balance brand shoes for running and didn't want to buy some Nike shoes just to use their Nike+ product (which I also love).
The Tuneband arm band is very comfortable. I have tried several arm bands and this is definitely the most comfortable. Very easy to adjust. Because it is velcro, it is also very precise so you can adjust it perfectly for your arms. The silicone holder for the nano is great. You can easily take it in and out and you can mount the nano upside down on the arm band so it is easier to read when you are running. The arm band is also very easy to give a good rinse to clean off the sweat after every few workouts.
The pouch is so simple, it is just perfect. The Nike+ chip slips inside and is very secure. I don't worry about anything coming off at all when I am running. I guess the only "drawback" would be if you have several pairs of shoes which you run in, you have to lace the pouch into the shoe, so that would get to be a pain with multiple pairs of shoes. I tend to stick to one pair of shoes until I wear them out though, so the pouch works great for me. It is also pretty streamlined, so it doesn't look like you have some big honkin apparatus on your shoe.
I would highly recommend this product. No regrets at all.

AWESOME! Pouch is wonderful, wanted to wear my Asics and my husbands handmade pouch just didn't do the job. The included arm band is also wonderful! I have tried many and they have not been good at all. This one has sold me and is a great quality!!! Great customer service and will definitely shop again!

I unfortunately do not have a foot that is amenable to Nike shoes, so without this product I could not use my new and fun gadget. I think it's great. I only wish I had thought of it!

I purchased this product so I could use the Nike+ kit with my New Balance running shoes. The shoe pouch fully encloses the sensor and attaches very securely. I have 100% confidence in the product. The arm band and protective skin is high quality, holds my Nano securely, provides full access to the click wheel, headphone jack, docking port, and hold button. The design of the armband keeps the ipod away from my skin, so I don't worry about it getting sweaty. The (optional) screen protectors it came with seem sturdy and functional. It adhered completely without bubbling, doesn't make the display difficult to read, doesn't make the click wheel difficult to operate, and completely protects the front of my ipod. It came with a few of the protectors so when it gets all scratched up I can easily take it off and replace it. The band itself is slim, comfortable, and fully adjustable. I am a woman with a fairly small build and I wear it on my forearm with no problem, whereas some other products don't adjust small enough. Excellent product, unbeatable price.

this works well for me because i am a runner who cannot wear nike. so on my asics and my saucony, this is perfect. the BUT is, the armband. the plastic protector piece is ripping in half and i have had this near a month. plus it exposes your screen and it can get wet. shoe pouch good, arm band, not so much.
