 Good protection October 5, 2008
This product is not difficult to apply, but keep an eye on the supplied solution. I ran out of the supplied application solution and screwed up my reverse side shield. Though the reverse side shield is properly aligned on my iphone, there are plenty of bubbles and probably some fingerprints also. For all practical purpose, I will have to redo the reverse side. Before, you start, I suggest you tear off the silly plastic cover over the solution bottle, so you have an idea how much solution is remaining. The front side is fairly easy to put.
Invisible shield gives a very good protection to the iphone, though the touch and feel of the iPhone will be gone.
The reverse side sticker can be improved, if it has multiple peel-off specially for the smaller parts of the sticker.

I had just spent 300 dollars on a iPhone with this large screen. God I thought I am going to scratch the heck out of that.
I went looking for a screen protector that would help me prevent this for as long as possible. I bought a cheap set of screen protectors at the apple store (3 in the package). Let me tell you that none of these things are easy to install. The hard type ones I think are the worst, any piece of dust or hair and you get this huge bubble under the protector and if you try to pull it back up to remove the offending material you will get finger prints all over it.
After wasting my money on These cheap and frustating things I started looking around the internet for reviews and options.
I came accross the Invisible shield. Said that it is used to protect helicopter blades. Hmmmm sounds good. Wife asked if I was going to throw away more money, Yep I am a guy with a new gadget.
Well anyway I bought one. When I got home I opened that package and discovered that there was only one protector in the package, a rubber thing and some spray. I sat down read the install instructions (I assumed that if it went on to helicopter blades it was not just going to get slapped on.) After reading the instructions and the warrenty (life time) I procedded to clean my work area, I cleaned my hands, I cleaned my iPhone, I even had my wife cleane her hands as I was asking her to arm her self with the spray bottle so I could concentrat on the handling of the protector.
That is the only down side to this protector. It is not easy to install. Anyone that got bubbles under the screen did not spray enough. about half way through the process I relized that it goes on like a vinyl sticker. use lot of spray so that you can slide the protector to the right place squeegee out all the bubbles then dry the excess liquid off let dry for a couple of hours. done.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!! it is not easy to install but it is not difficult either. Have patients and you will end up with a great looking screen.

I applied the shield with some difficulty but the result is acceptable. There are no bubbles but the corners do not so fit too well. I was satisfied.
However, after using it for 2 months, the clear case turns a dirty brown at places!! My iphone looks really awful. I have to find another case to replace this one.

This shield does a very good job at preventing your iPhone from becoming scratched but it is not 100% invisible and lends a 'ripple' effect to the screen, reducing clarity and shaprness.

I think this product has a love-hate thing going. If you are a person who gets theirs on perfectly, you might love it. For the rest of us, it is HORRIBLE! I bought it at BEST BUY (sorry Amazon) for my iphone 3G (front shield only). They say to spray the shield with the special spray, which I did. Then I applied it, and there were so many bubbles it looked horrible. I tried the squeegee they give you, but nothing would get out the bubbles. SO, I followed the directions and very gently removed it. It didn't stretch (they warn you about this), but I think I was really lucky that it didn't get out of shape. HOWEVER, the shield then had streak marks all over it from the spray, plus some of my finger prints, despite using the spray on my fingers too. I tried to re-install, but it was so streaked, that it was of no use. Like other posters, I tried contacting ZAGG twice ... ZERO customer service. They NEVER got back to me. So, I returned it to Best Buy... and I thrilled that they took it back, so I was not out the money.
Also, like others, I didn't actually like the high gloss, sticky feel of the shield. I bought the non-glare sold at the Apple Store, and it is awesome. I really wish their was a product that would do the same thing as the Invisible Shield, but was easier to install!
NOTE: I have a friend who has this Invisible Shield on her 1st gen iphone. She LOVES it and hers looks GREAT (no bubbles)! So, I guess if you get lucky on your install, you might like it. Personally, even without the bubbles, I wouldn't like it for the screen, b/c of it's high gloss, sticky look. However, I would like it for the back of my phone, so I can get rid of the bulkier case that I am using. I'd like to see the slick lines of the phone, rather than the case. Oh well ... something for someone to develop!
