Product Description Wake up on time with Sony's ICF-C318W AM/FM Radio Clock. Slim, sleek and space saving, the ICFC318W sits perfectly on your night table and makes life easy with a large highly visible 0.9" green LED display, built-in calendar and Automatic Daylight Savings Time Adjustment (ADST). No power, no worry, the radio clock is equipped with a battery back-up and with extendable snooze, you can stay in bed just a little bit longer. Remember to set your radio clock to your favorite station so you can start your day the right way.
Amazon.com Product Description Always know what time it is. The Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm has a 0.9" green LED display that is easily viewable from across the room, but takes up very little space on your nightstand. It hosts a number of features including automatic time set, automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustment, dual alarm, built-in calendar, AM/FM tuner and full power memory back up. The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. Dual alarms with individual alarm indicators let you set two separate wake-up times with differing wake-up settings. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so when the power returns you don't have to re-set the clock.

The only alarm clock I found where I can adjust the brightness three ways. July 28, 2008 I am so happy that I purchased this alarm clock. It is the perfect size for my nightstand and it has an attractive shape. It is the only alarm clock I found where I can adjust the brightness three ways giving me the perfect amount especially at night. This is also the first alarm clock I've had where as soon as you plug in the alarm clock it gives the exact time without me having to set the time. I just love all the features of this alarm clock.
decent device July 7, 2008 relatively easy to operate, not too bright at night, acceptable tuning, somewhat tinny sounding but plenty clear, and anyway, most tiny speakers are like that. unique time and alarm setting knob simplifies doing that. i'm surprised how many radio alarm clocks still use analog tuners like this one. in these modern times digital tuners should actually cost less than the old style. if it had digital tuning i'd have given 5 stars.
Great product June 29, 2008 Easy to use, easy to see, dual alarm, maintains time during a power failure. Nice price.
"Automatic Time Set" Does Not Equal "Atomic Clock" June 27, 2008 I bought this product assuming that "Automatic Time Set" would mean that this clock could receive the atomic clock signals and automatically set itself like so many other clocks on the market these days. Wrong. According to Sony, "Automatic Time Set" actually means that the clock time was set at the factory and if you are lucky enough that the backup battery doesn't go dead in shipping (as mine did), you may open your ICF-C318 and have an alarm clock *hopefully* set to the correct time. More still, Sony even saw it fit to print "Automatic Time Set" right on the front of the radio, so every morning when you glance at the time, you can be forever reminded how awesome it was that Sony set the time at the factory for you. However, as the battery in mine was dead, this message will forever make me remember how dumb I felt when I found out that this clock wasn't what at all what I thought I bought.
Besides that, there ain't much to say about this besides that it works. No frills and it's fine as a very basic clock radio. I'm glad it was only $15.
Basically Good May 30, 2008 A basic dual alarm clock radio with below average sound quality. That said, for a price under $15.00 it's still a great buy. It has large clear numerals and is easy to set the controls. I don't think you will find anything better for the price.
