Love it! September 15, 2008 I have used this for everything from grilled cheese to T-bone steaks and the results have been fantastic. And it is so easy to clean.
George Forman Family Size Grill September 11, 2008 This is just as good as the small grill, only bigger. Think about it...more food at once with the same excellent results. A no-brainer. Buy it!
Good Grill September 9, 2008 I like the Foreman family size grill, the only problem it doesn't have a timer on it. I think this was one of the first models on the market. It's worth the price though.
Great grill! August 29, 2008 This grill is big enough for a large steak. We have been very pleased with it. The only problem is things cook very fast since you are cooking from both sides. We found most of the times in the instruction book were too long. As you cook with it you will get used to that. Clean up is not too bad, we use paper towels and do it before it cools off. If you can't cook outside this is a great second choice and a good price!
Not worth it ... it's in the trash as I type August 28, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Glad I didn't pay much for this. It's fine for burgers, but the plates are a pain to clean as they are non-removeable. It's rather cumbersome and I had to place it on my cooktop stove..or else the thing COULD BURN YOUR COUNTERTOPS!
Cooked 4 NY Strip Steaks tonight...how embarrassed I was when the top was hardly done at all and the bottom was burned. Taseted like boiled steak! Just threw $20 bucks of meat away...comparable to cooking a shoe.
Plan on spending a half hour cleaning the grids; dumping the grease. It's so much easier under the broiler or a frying pan.
