Product Description
The Bell Slant Fusion Sport Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet's microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. This helmet features Bell's ErgoDial fit system to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment with the press of a button and slide of the dial for a firm, snug and comfortable stability.

The Slant also features a removable blade visor, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 21 channeled vents that are specially designed to force cool, fresh air in through the front and around your head, while flushing warm air out of the rear ports. The Slant helmet comes in Bell's Universal Adult size (54-61cm), weighs 300 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's safety standards for bicycle helmets.

Helmet Tips--You Should Always...

  • Wear a helmet when you ride
  • Wear your helmet low in the front to protect the forehead
  • Fasten your buckle and tighten your chin strap
  • Check your adjustments every time you wear your helmet
  • Inspect your helmet regularly for signs of wear or damage
  • Wear a helmet designed for your activity

About Bell
More world champions have worn Bell Helmets than all other helmet brands combined. From Grand Prix racing through the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting sportsmen and women for nearly 50 years. Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling, and then bicycling. His commitment to creating great product through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise. His legacy lives on today in Bell's commitment to racing, quality and innovation.

5 out of 5 stars Great Helmet   July 16, 2008
This is a superior helmet that's easy to fit. Recommended by Consumer Reports also.

5 out of 5 stars Good Fit   June 27, 2008
Returning to bike riding after ten years a new bike helmet was in order. After reading reviews in various places the Bell Slant was my choice. Ease of adjustment for a good fit and reasonable appearance were important considerations. The helmet has met both needs. Therefore I have been wearing it on my weekend rides. It is comfortable, secure and does not require constant adjustment as did helmets of years ago. For the price it even looks fine.

3 out of 5 stars Bigger then expected   May 22, 2008

Before my purchase, I tried on several styles in stores. I know I am a size Medium. The helmet is nice, but was bigger then I expected. You can adjust the tightness, but the helmet itself was larger then I would had like. Still it is a good helmet.

Fits snug and secure and has good ventilation. I chose it because it was top rated in Consumer Reports. Very light weight.

5 out of 5 stars Orange fun   April 18, 2008

It took me awhile to find an orange helmet and I was leery of just trying one from the net. I went to a bike shop and tied it on and knew this was the one. I will say it did take awhile to get the straps just right, once you learn how (I advice looking at the little booklet)it all becomes clear and you'll have a great fitting helmet. I never got the straps right on my last helmet and now really know what a good helmet fitting correctly will do for you. No more fighting with straps or having it shift. I really like this helmet and can't figure any way for it to be much better for a mid range helmet.
