 There's an easier way to get the effect this product offers July 18, 2008

1. Take a pile of money equivalent to what you'd spend on this product.
2. Crumple it up into a ball.
3. Set it on fire (or be nice and give to the needy).
4. Take a piece of string and use it as a necklace.
This is classic quackery. I'm disappointed that people still fall for this in the 21st century.
 about what i expected July 18, 2008
i saw a lot of the red sox players wearing these necklaces so i thought i would give it a shot. it looks and feels like a piece of rope, therefor it is very basic in appearance. i bought it with the mindset that it would not have any "magic" powers to heel pain, and thats what i got. i work retail and have to stand up for 8 hours and it really hasn't stopped my legs from getting any stiffer then normal. it might have helped a little bit, but not enough to make me want to buy another one. basically you are buying a regular necklace and when you put it on it might give you the mindset that you feel better but it doesn't do that much. 3 stars.

This was a good item for the price...i cant really say that it is a miracle worker but it does feel pretty solid and good. if you end up not liking the way it works than its still a cool necklace to have for the price.

I have a problem with my right ankle. Long story short, whenever I spend a day on my feet, the next day, I can barely walk. My ankle stiffens up and I have to just deal with a lot of pain. I have a desk job, so most of the time I'm fine, but Mondays tend to be my worst day since I'm out and about on the weekend.
So I bought this necklace to wear around my ankle. Yes, I know it is a necklace. But, wearing a black rope around my neck wasn't something I wanted to do. Anyway, I'm simply amazed. It works! I've had it for 2 weeks now and NO PAIN. I spent all day Saturday and Sunday working in my yard. Both Sunday and Monday morning....no pain. Some slight stiffness, but no pain.
I don't know what else I can say. I'm so pleased that I also just ordered the Phiten discs and massage cream.
I'd give Phiten 10 stars if I could.

I bought this item, because I always see Boston Red Sox players wear them and thought they looked cool. It is cool, and it does relieve some minor aches and pains that I have/had. I recommend getting one for yourself, if you want to be cool like me.
