This table features a 1-inch wood table top, 2-3/8 x 1/2 x 2-inch steel railing rim, and 2-3/8 x 1-1/2-inch steel legs. The legs are indented from the end and sides of table for unhindered footwork. This is a serious ping pong table. The minute we started playing we realized that it was a great table, rock steady, with a very true bounce, a joy to play on. We love it and are glad to have spent the extra money for the extra quality.
Assembly requires a bit of effort and takes about two hours. It can be folded up and put away by a single adult without much difficulty.
