We have fairly active dogs and I get nervous when lit candles are in the house. These candles solve the problem. I purchased them because we frequently have power outages and need flashlights or candles until the power is restored. I recommend these candles highly. Fragrance is very pleasant as well.

I bought this for my kids who are in college dorms not wanting them to burn them down. All of them not only liked them but actually use them! And they don't burn up the batteries either. I now give them as graduation presents.

This is a nice alternative, to a regular candle if you have small children, a cluttered house, or a forgetful mind. Of course, when up close, it does not look like a real candle, and it does not throw off a scent like a real candle. But it does ad some ambiance to a room. I think a couple are a good idea to have around...like for keeping in bathrooms when entertaining, and that sort of thing.
