The shoes are well constructed and really comfortable. The soles grip rocks well, they hug your feet, stay in place and don't flop around while you swim. They do run large though and I would recommend ordering at least full size smaller then you would normally wear. (I normally wear an 8 1/2 and the 7's fit great!) I would definitely recommend them!
Great for kayaking August 9, 2008
We bought some of these not knowing what to expect. The shipping was very timely and efficient. The socks/shoes are great for kayaking. We wear them any time we go out on a lake or river. We can jump right in and not fear doing anything to our inflatable kayak. If need be, we can jump right out on rocky or sandy bottoms without hurting our feet. We're in our 60's and wish we'd tried these years ago. Go ahead, get some. You'll be happy you did.
Great for whitewater rafting (and other things, too)!! August 9, 2008
I got these for whitewater rafting and found them to be ideal. Not only do they work equally well both in and out of the water, but the soles are thick enough to walk around on land, and the shoes are thin enough to tuck your feet safely into the sides of the raft. I highly recommend them.
Great for a rocky beach August 9, 2008
I got these for a trip to Grand Cayman. The beach by are hotel was very rocky and I don't know what I would have done without them. They are cute and very comfortable, too. I will be using them for gardening because you can just hose off the dirt. I chose them because they were cheap and couldn't be happier. Do get one size smaller.
