I love the Asics Gt 2120 running shoes. Finding the right running shoes for your foot type is by far the most important part of enjoyable running and running injury free. I have tried alot of different shoes through the years and the Asics Gt series are the best I have found. The 2120's can take the pounding of hundreds of miles. I put on 691 miles on my 2110's. I don't see any reason why I won't get long durability from these shoes too.
My Favorite Shoes April 19, 2008
I've been wearing this style shoe for about 7 years. I think it's the most popular running shoe in the country and there's a good reason for that. I mostly walk in the shoes, but I also jog and use cardio machines at the gym. I'm an overpronator, but I don't like too much stability and this shoe has just enough for me. I just completed the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Houston wearing these shoes (39.3 miles) and I had no foot problems.
ASICS GT 2120 Men Chilipepper April 19, 2008
I first chose this product because it's an ASICS, in my opinion #1 best running shoes brand in the world. I run from 10k to marathon and cover 35 to 60 km a week (road and trail). I particularly appreciate the comfort of these shoes (broad, smooth) and their cushioning. In addition I like their style with the chilipepper color. I would advice them for road runners (pronator and eventually heavy), from training to competition (even if they are not the lightest and dynamics shoes available in the market). For light and quick runners, you can swith to ASICS DS RACER for your competitions and keep GT2120 for training.
