1 out of 5 stars 12oz sippy leaks   May 7, 2008
the sippy leaks....every time...thru the air hole, not the nipple. not the fault of the bottle but the poor design of the Advent adaptor. Leaks due to pressure in the bottle caused by sucking forcing the liquid out. Klean did not want to help, gave me the brush-off.

5 out of 5 stars Klean Kanteen does it all.   April 29, 2008

I got exactly what I expected when I ordered the 40oz Klean Kanteen in Stainless Steel. An incredibly durable water bottle, I say water bottle because I rarely drink anything else, though Im sure you could put anything in it as long as you had something to hold it with if using hot liquid. I can imagine this bottle lasting forever because there is literally nothing that can go wrong with it but the top and even that is very durable. I don't think you could go wrong with this product.

5 out of 5 stars Solid, doesn't leak   February 8, 2008

Doesn't seem like it'd dent easily, hasn't yet, and don't foresee it. I have two caps, the plastic one and the stainless steel one. Both close tight and I don't have to worry about any leakage. I switch out my water once a day, and I haven't noticed any metallic taste.

Does what I want it to and it looks like it's going to last a long time. Webvitamins also has great customer service, based on something that happened during my order. I am entirely satisfied.

5 out of 5 stars Haven't dented yet   January 20, 2008
Before buying my Klean Kanteens, I had toted my green tea to work in polycarbonate bottles. When I heard they could be detrimental to my long-term health, thus partially negating the reason I switched from diet soda to green tea, I decided to switch to stainless steel.

I had read other reviews, and I knew my main concern would be trying to keep my Klean Kanteens from denting. So, I bought some high-density foam from the fabric store and made some traveling cozies for them. So far, so good.

The Klean Kanteens themselves work well. The seal is pretty tight, the loop top is handy, and it's easy to pour directly from the tea kettle into them. My biggest problem with them would probably be the name. Neither word should start with "K." I guess it's better than a three "K" name.

3 out of 5 stars Good, but not perfect   January 12, 2008

I got this 100% stainless steel water to replace my poisonous Nalgene bottles. It's a good design, but I only give it 3 stars for two reasons.

1. Opening it gives an unpleasant "fingernails on the chalkboard" feeling.
2. There's no attachment for the cap (I even checked the manufacturer's website, and tried to use one from SIGG, but it didn't fit.

I also got a water bottle from Guyot Designs, and I think that one is perfect. It's got an excellent cap design, and more spout options. Hopefully Amazon will carry them soon as well; I had to order them directly from Guyot's website.
