 Not that pleased with it May 16, 2008
The first one I ordered had a RUST stain in it after only 2 washings, so I sent it back. This one is rust free.
In general, I wish that I had saved my $20. I have the screw top lid, which I don't really like, but I don't want to spend any more money to buy the sport top. The opening at the top is too wide, so that when I try and drink while on my walk, water splashes all over my face and shirt. Then there is the problem of the phantom water leaks. I don't know if water is getting trapped in the plastic lid when it gets washed, or if water is collecting underneath the metal lip at the mouth, but water droplets are finding their way onto my clothes, purse, library books, key chain and anything else it comes into contact with. It only happens when it's slightly tilted on its side, but that is still unacceptable, since there should be no water coming out of it if the lid is on and secure!
Also, the water does have a slight metallic flavor. It is most noticeable when there is just a little bit of water left. And then the metallic flavor is really strong. I can't imagine that this is any healthier than plastic leaching into my water.
I don't know which is worse- thinking that maybe I've gotten another defective bottle, or this is the quality of all of their products?
I've had the water bottle too long at this point for me to expect Amazon to take it back, so I'm stuck with it.

Excellent product and well worth the money to avoid dangerous plastic. The Poly cap does touch the water so we did purchase the stainless steel loop tops. I filled the bottles (I bought two) with vinegar water overnight and we never experienced a metal taste and if anyone in Gods free world could, my husband would be the one that could. I have seen other stainless steel bottles in store and they do not come close to the quality of this bottle. I am very pleased with the product.

This item is great. I don't have to worry about the possibility of plastics leeching into my water and it's re-usable. I have had no problem with off tastes or leaking. Not sure what others are talking about. There is slight condensation at times but nothing that causes a big mess. Maybe the humidity in different parts of the country cause less or more condensation. I'm not sure. Disappointed that it comes with a plastic lid; but you can't have everything; I guess.

I love these bottles! I have two, my husband has three, we have given them as gifts! Non-toxic! Saves resources by using your own water. No flavor. Ice cubes fit nicely inside. Unbreakable. Perfect.

I like this product but - the top is a little difficult to drink from. Because it is wide (to fit ice cubes), if you lift it too fast or high you will get a face full of water. It does not leak nor taste like pennies though. It fits in a car cup holder. It is a bit tall to put in bags and briefcases. The plastic top is no problem and the loop is a good way to hold it while you are drinking. I wish I would have had an option for a diffrent top though the drinking thing can be challenging. Sip slow.
