Lightweight and easy to handle, this is a ruggedly constructed power megaphone and portable PA system for sound reinforcement and mobile applications. Virtually indestructible, the non-corrosive shockproof construction will withstand the abuse normally encountered in mobile applications. The unusually long reflex projector with a narrow dispersion angle permits focusing of the sound beam where it is needed, with greater power concentration, penetration and effective range. It has a unidirectional condenser microphone built into it so you can hold the megaphone to your mouth and talk normally. You can also use the hand held CB style mic that plugs into the back of the unit if you want to be able to pass the mic around.It measures 12.75" long, and 7.75" in diameter and features an incredibly loud alarm / siren switch you can trigger with a gentle push of your finger when you want to get the crowds attention fast, and a Chinese tune when you press the music switch. There also is a volume control that your thumb can easily adjust, and a sturdy black nylon neck strap that allows it to be worn around your neck. The neck strap is very useful so that you don't have to hold the Megaphone at all times, instead allowing it to hang while using the separate mic to talk. Maximum output power is 25 watts which gives you an effective range of over 300 yards, and it uses 6 "D" cell batteries (not included).

I sent mine back the day I got it. It had several scratches on it. It also came without instructions. There isn't even a battery diagram!. The sound level was not up to par. Thought I'd save some money. Bad idea!!!

They shipped this to us very fast. This bullhorn is really loud, but you need to speak very clearly to not sound muddled. The siren and music features are also really loud. We have used this both inside and outside and are very pleased.

Megaphone works mostly as promised. However, we need to use it in a gymnasium (which is real echo-y), and cannot turn the volume up enough to combat the echo. Most likely I cannot blame the megaphone, but the environment. I just wish I could make it louder. It shipped very fast!! May be better to use outside.

This megaphone is awsome. I bought it for my high school football games. It is so loud and clear. I can also hook my ipod up to it through the microphone port. This is a great buy.
