I have gotten laughed at because of the peculiar color of this bag, BUT this is the best gym bag I have had in quite a few years. Between using it for the gym and using it as a travel bag, I find that, for a rather small bag, it holds a lot and it good for the gym or for traveling. It is especially useful for trips of a mere few days in that I don't have to check a bag anymore (and incur a dreaded airline fee!), but instead can put this bag in the overhead bin. It holds all that I need for a trip of several days. Don't mind the color. It is the holding capacity that makes this bag a must buy.

This bag appears smaller than it really is --- I could use it for a weekend trip. Very roomy, stays flat, has a nice shoe compartment on the side (which doesn't look any bigger than the other side) and there's two handles. It's very heavy and pretty big. Overall a nice bag.
Great gym bag February 9, 2008
I bought this bag because I recently joined the gym and needed something to haul my clothes, shoes and shower supplies. This bag is perfect for me as it's just the right size - holds my stuff nicely and fits in the gym locker when put in vertically. I really like that the bag has a separate compartment for my shoes. The price is very reasonable too and the grape color is eye-catching.

I received this bag as a Christmas gift and I love it! I was impressed at how thick the canvas is. Not like other flimsy duffle bags you find in stores. Plenty of pockets for my Ipod and keys. It has one pocket with a vent hole on the side for smelly gym shoes so they will not get your clothes dirty. Great bag, great quality!

My daughter loved receiving this bag for Christmas. One thing not noted in the description is one of the side pockets actually is attached to a bag on the inside, which is great for wet or sweaty items. Very large, will hold pleanty of sports equipment, clothes, towels and then some!
