Backpack for every need June 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received this bag last week and took it for hiking and kayaking. I liked the comfort of the bag. It has all kinds of pocket for every need Cellphone, music player, shuffle hook on strap, keys hander.I used shoulder strap for securing my Apple Shuffle.
The best thing is two bottle holder and it has deep pocket. It will hold the bottles tight. In case you don't want to carry bottle, you can store eatable like Nature valley or other energy bar and close the zipper.
Overall, I liked the bag. I have order black color due to low price. May be they can decrease the price of other colors.
Great pack! May 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great day pack, especially for the price. Lots of room for stuff and the side compartments for water bottles are quite convenient. The pack also has a nice hip strap to take the weight off of your shoulders. This comes in very useful when using it for extended periods of time. I used this pack on vacation and on day hikes and absolutely love it.
I really like this backpack! May 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had ordered another High Sierra backpack, and although I didn't really like it, there were some features of it that I felt were thoughtful, and I kept wishing I had another backpack that incorporated them. I had looked at this backpack when I bought the first one, but felt it was too expensive. Finally, when I saw that the price had come down, I went ahead and ordered this one. Am I ever glad I did! There are just tons of cool features; it makes it so easy to keep all my stuff organized, and I haven't even used all the pockets! It's also extremely comfortable. This may seem minor, but the zippers and their pulls are solid and heavy duty; overall the pack feels very durable and protective. If I had a quibble it would be that there's not one huge pocket, so it's a little difficult to pack in really big items, but I usually carry big stuff in a duffle bag anyway. The excess strapping is also a little long and dangly; I'm still working out a way to manage that. All in all, though, this is a great backpack!
Great Value and Durable. April 18, 2008 I purchased a comfort bike to travel to and from work (10 miles round trip). I wanted something to carry my stuff in other than having to add bags and baskets to the bike, so I purchased this pack and I am very glad I did. Great price for the quality of product and usage. The shoulder straps fit great around my shoulders and the pack balances great when I am pedling on my bike. Not a hinderance. Holds alot. Carry water bottles, lunch containers, books, clothing, bike tools, etc. There have been times I had 40-50 lbs of stuff in the pack, heavy as it was, the pack laid perfectly and balanced well on my back and was not a nuisance or inconvience when I was on my bike. Love the two water holders on outside of pack. To be exact, the bike is not affected by the weight as it would have been if I had the weight was in the baskets/bags on the bike. Not rain proof, but I do not ride the bike in the rain. I got the red as matches the color of helmet and bike. Also, I not have a great pack to use when I go hiking too. I recommend this pack.
Great all-around and gym bag April 1, 2008 I bought this bag after buying 2 or 3 cheaper bags that only lasted me a couple or 3 months before the stitching started to unravel, or the zippers got hung up in threading. I've had this one for 6 months now and am very pleased with it. I take it to work with me every day, I can carry my lunch and gym clothes in it, it fits in the trunk of my motorcycle, and holds everything neatly, with plenty of room. If this one ever wears out, I'll surely get another. It's definitely worth the price.
