5 out of 5 stars best bookbag i've ever owned   August 29, 2008
the construction (stitching, straps, zippers) of this bag is exceptional. certainly much better than some that cost a lot more. the cell phone pocket is only made for very small phones.

5 out of 5 stars Durable, Affordable, Great looks   August 27, 2008
I bought the blue one, the color I liked most and it turned out to be the cheapest one. It has all I wanted in a backpack. I use it to carry books (sometimes about 4 to 5 each of about 1.5lb) and my 15.4'' laptop (4 lb).

Pros:
(1) Two large pockets have plenty of space. One medium size pocket which has separate pockets in it to organize things like calculator, pens, bank cheque book, calculator etc. Still one more small pocket if you want to keep small things. Still one more on left strap to keep really small things like gums, ear phones etc.
(2) Has a secured hole to pass ipod wire through the second main pocket.
(3) The straps are really sturdy and spongy. Due to suspension system and ergonomic design, it feels very comfortable even with large loads. The additional lifting handle near the straps is sturdy too still be cautious while lifting with a really large load. Straps and length adjusting buckles are sturdy and hence very easy to adjust length even when you are carrying heavy loads.
(4) Has a hook on it that you can see in the picture. I use it to hang my water bottle.
(5) Zippers are one of those very sturdy ones. It seems that I wont be able to break any no matter how roughly I use them.
(6) Backpack cloth quality is very good and is well stitched.

Cons:
(1) Main pockets are large not HUGE. It might be difficult to fit if you have a 17'' laptop. I haven't tried fitting one though. The size is smaller as compared to its load carrying capacity.
(2) No side pocket to keep water/soda bottle.
(3) No straps/sponge inside the main pockets to secure laptop.

5 out of 5 stars Sturdy, roomy, and inexpensive!   August 20, 2008
This backpack is perfect for me. I needed a bag that could hold schoolbooks and my large, heavy, widescreen laptop, but wasn't $80. This bag honestly seemed too good to be true, at less than $20 for the blue/grey color. I received it today; it holds my laptop, a thick programming book, and a couple of notebooks with ease, yet it doesn't have a huge presence on my back (doesn't seem as large as it is). Very comfortable, sturdy straps that stand up to the weight I will be carrying on a regular basis. Lots of little compartments that may or may not turn out to be useful. Definitely a good deal!

This backpack looks great, has a ton of room in it, and is durable. I highly recommend it.

it's a bag. a cheep bag. it has tons of pockets (maybe to many pockets) and extras (some of which I'm not really sure what they do). i cut off most of the tassels that come on the zippers. and one or two large compartments instead of three smaller compartments would have been nice. but, it's tough. and for the price, i cope with the down sides to it. mostly use it while on my bike and it's pretty comfortable.
