5 out of 5 stars Brilliant Idea!   May 4, 2007

Now you don't have to mess with opening gel packets while you're riding or get sticky fingers, etc, etc, etc. Someone had a stroke of genius who thought of this. The gel dispenser is inside the bottle, attached to the spout. To 'drink' the gel you keep the bottle closed and the suction draws the gel out in a vacuum (like from a tube). To drink the water you open the spout as usual. I haven't mastered the 'both at once' mode which is that you're supposed to open the spout just slightly. I get either just gel or seemingly just water. Maybe the gel is getting mixed in but I can't tell. No matter though, it's such a time/hassle saver just to have them in one place without messing up your hands or sticking the used packet in your jersey pocket. This is a great idea. If you take short rides (<25 mi.) this is a great boon :-)
