Product Description This is the finest stand we've ever seen! This pro-quality, versatile work stand has a rock-solid base with a removable work stand. From simple routine maintenance to complete overhauls, anyone can benefit from a stable work platform. When deciding on which product to carry we analyzed many factors, cost, stability, quality, etc.. After talking to multiple riders, repairmen, and bike distributors, we elected to go with the slightly more expensive, but more robust, Stand. The rigid "ironing board" design allows a secure base for the toughest wrenching. In our opinion these are much more robust and versatile than the inferior "bipod" or "tripod" design you regularly see on the market.Additional Features:#Our advance locking mechanism allows quick placement of bicycle in stand#Unique soft over-molded "plastic" jaws prevent damage to your bicycle.#Load capacity 90 lbs. (40 kg)#Weight 16 lbs. (7 kg)#1-year warranty

Good thing its inexpensive May 22, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I can't beleive that they would originally charge $150.00 for this product. Set up was easy, was missing one screw for the legs. Can accomodate a XL montain bike no problem. Overall construction is so so, a bit on the flimsy side, but does get the job done. Was able to get into the middle holder no problem without pinching any of the brake or shifting cables. Shipping and handling is $16.00 so you are looking at overall cost of $40-45.00. Ask yourself, is it better to pay this amount, or pay the extra $50.00 and get a Park stand that you know is the best???
Bike Stand a great value and easy to use April 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product is quick and easy to use. The bike is at working height, protects finish and is so simple to use. The stand is slightly better on mountain bikes as compared to a road bike but works well for both. The tool stand is a real plus, there is enough room to keep your favorite tool and lube close by. I strongly recommend this as a best buy.
Repair Stand April 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received my stand today. Set up was simple and it folds compactly when not needed. It seems to be a relatively sturdy stand and will come in handy for adjustments to the derailleurs and also cleaning the chain. I think I'll also be using it to clean and inspect the bike periodically. For the price I can't see how you could go wrong with this.
It's a glorified keyboard stand -- but better than nothing January 17, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The stand can support the weight of a moutain bike without tipping over... but barely. The list price of $150 is a joke but for $25+shipping it's better than nothing.
Bear in mind that it isn't a full featured repair stand. If you have cables running below your downtube they'll get pinched so you may not be able to shift (especially if the cables are not contained in a housing). The fact that the bike can only be positioned horizontally may also be limiting. This having been said, if you're just looking to keep your bike maintained or for a portable stand, this isn't a bad option.
