| Customer Reviews:
watch August 28, 2008 I am pleased with the order process and with my watch, this site has become more useful all the time first for dvd's now for watches. thank you
Nice watch for the price.....but August 5, 2008 I bought this for my wife, and the watch for the price is a great deal.
The watch has a Japanese movement, and Pulsar is a division of Seiko watches.
But, even though I have a set of jeweler's tools, I couldn't figure out how to remove the watch band pins to adjust it down so that it would fit my wife's wrist. The pins have slotted caps, but they do not unscrew. There were no instructions about that in the box, and I didn't want to break anything.
So I contacted Amazon, which was of no help on adjusting the watch band, but I was supplied with the Pulsar web site e-mail address.
The answer received back from Pulsar about adjusting the watch band was also of little help. They just replied to have a "Pulsar Authorized Dealer" adjust the watch band. So, I finally made the ten mile round trip to a jeweler's shop, four days after receiving the watch, and paid $7.50 to have the watch band adjusted.
The man at the jewelery store told me that I only had to "push the pins" out, because they are a pressure fit pin and not the type that unscrew.
Now why couldn't Pulsar have told me that before I wasted my money and time to get it adjusted at a jewelery store?
The watch rates five stars, but Pulsar "customer service" leaves a lot to be desired.
