Not jeweler grade, but great for me ... September 3, 2008 I did buy 2 of these at the time I ordered to have a spare so I wouldn't have to spend so much on shipping if I lost or broke one.
I only need to change my band maybe once every 4-5 years, so the quality of this tool is fine for me.
If I could find a place to do my watch band replacements near my home, then I would not have bought this, but I can't find anyone to do it so I will do it myself from now on.
Cheap tool June 11, 2008 It is very cheap, so don't be disappointed when it breaks. I read a review before I bought it, warning that it would break, so I bought 2. The tip of my first one broke the first time I used it. You may be better off paying a bit more and getting a better tool. If you plan to use it once, this may be good enough. If you like changing your bands often, look elsewhere.
Not Happy. June 4, 2008 Great service. But, the product is very fragile. It fell apart on my first usage. I complained to the company, but got no response.
well worth the money May 28, 2008 since I read this was cheap, I ordered 2. However, I still have yet to break the first one. I have used this to change the strap several times on my breitling super avenger, tag heuer aquaracer, oris dive, and omega planet ocean. So far so good - and at this price, if it does break, I won't cry about it.
Junk May 10, 2008 The first time I tried to use it the pin broke... and I was only using finger tip pressure straight down... junk. The pin had less strength than the pencil lead for a Pentel mechanical pencil.
