The bottom loading magazine allows fast loading and unloading of fasteners and holds 101 staples in 3/8 in. to 1-1/2 in. lengths. The self-cleaning air filter extends life by preventing dirt and debris from entering the tool. The adjustable rear air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area and holds down the noise. An adjustable and removable belt hook provides convenience for carrying. This finishing stapler is one of seven new heavy-duty air-powered nailers from the venerable Milwaukee, and the whole series is another testament to the red label's unflagging quality.

Like all of Milwaukee's new nailers, this is incredibly light, even fully loaded, and its cool, compact size makes it a cinch to tote and use, especially in awkward positions and at the tail end of a long day. Despite its size, it's still a heavyweight in the power department, and, best of all, its reload indicator even alerts you when your magazine's nearly empty. Loading more staples takes a couple of seconds at most. Another big tip of the hat to Milwaukee for incorporating both sequential and bump firing modes, accessible just by turning a knob, so when speed is a need, you're ready to go, but precision is at your fingertips too. We like the quality built into this tool, from the magnesium housing and oil-free motor to the easily adjustable air deflector and muffler, as well as the conveniently integrated belt. The non-marring nosepiece won't deface your work surface, and there's even a self-cleaning air filter in the tool handle, keeping dust and dirt out of the tool's workings - and that means longer tool life. Tool-free depth adjustment is on-the-mark reliable, fast and easy.

In hand, this stapler feels great: light, comfortable, agile, beautifully balanced, and dare we say, fun to use. Milwaukee's marketing this line to professionals, but we've never met a do-it-yourselfer who wouldn't love this stapler and all it can do.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

5 out of 5 stars Milwaukee 7155 Narrow Crown Stapler   July 21, 2008
As all Milwaukee products, this stapler is very well made. Fit and finish are excellent. The belt hook is a nice feature. Have only used this gun a few times now, but it has performed flawlessly. The only recommendation I could possibly make would be to move the saftey plunger behind port where staples exit; this might make accurate staple placement a little easier. Well satisfied with the purchase.

4 out of 5 stars Two small gripes - otherwise a good deal   June 23, 2008
This Milwaukee stapler has worked pretty well and has saved me a lot of work. A far cry from having to use a manual stapler. I do have two minor complaints. The first is that mine did not come with the anti-mar piece that fits over the actuation plunger. This would help to minimize the amount of surface marks on the finished product. The second issue is that when using the smaller sized staples - 3/8" and 1/2" - it will occasionally misfire. It doesn't jam - just no staple is fired. The next one may be fine, or it may take two or three tries. Then it is back to normal. I have been using only brand name staples, so can't imagine that is the issue. Even with this irritation, I would never go back to doing it the old way.

5 out of 5 stars Great price for a great stapler   June 18, 2008

This stapler costs significantly less than comparable tools at the brick and mortars. So I was a little hesitant to purchase it. After all, Milwaukee's claim to fame is the Sawzall, not air tools.
But I took a shot and I'm glad I did. This stapler is very light weight but it just feels so solid and well-built.
The attached built clip is a nice touch as well. I've used it in a project already re-screening my back porch and I'm looking forward to the next project that requires a stapler.
I have a new-found respect for Milwaukee tools after this purchase.

Nice little quality gun! Now has me raising some eyebrows to other Milwaukee guns. Would absolutely buy again.

I've had half a dozen narrow crown staplers and worn them all out. I've used this one a few times now and have been pleased. One nice feature is that it stops sending the plunger down when it runs out of staples. The price was right and the stapler seems like a good one.
