Be aware this is a very rough tool. October 2, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is one rough tool, engraving is VERY hard to read and set. Most likely it would work, but it is not a confidence inspiring tool.
My advice -- spend the extra bucks and get an SK torque wrench on Amazon.
Cheap -- so I felt no pain in pitching it out, I have never seen a tool that looked so primitive! After I had thrown it out, I felt so relieved not to ever have to deal with it.
By the by -- no reflection on the seller, who shipped instantly, and the seller packed the item very carefully.
Michican Industrial 3/8" & 1/4" Torque Wrenches March 3, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I'm a vintage race car restorer and former professional racer. These Michigan Industrial torque wrenches are robust, and appropriate for the hobbyist and semi-pro mechanic. They calibrate close to their vernier settings when cross-checked against other popular brand torque wrenches. All torque wrenches function within 5% of scale, and these were within that tolerance. Obviously made in China or somewhere in the East, they read in in/lbs and Kgms/m which is the only critizism I would offer. It would be more useful if instead of Kgm/m they would scale in N/m which is more universally found in current shop repair manuals. They have a handy hook on the end to hang on a pegboard or come with a plastic case to keep them from banging-around in the drawer. All considered I'm satisfied with these tools.
