It features a round silver watch case that frames a white dial background with black Arabic numerals and silver hands (with seconds hand). The stainless steel bracelet band features trident shaped links in silver tones, and it's joined by a fold-over push-button clasp. This watch also features a 10-year battery life, water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet), and a date display at 3 o'clock. With the Quick Date function, you can set the date on the watch without turning the crown for every 24-hour period. Just pull the stem halfway out, and turn until desired date is reached. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

I bought this as a christmas gift for my sister who is a nurse. I think she will really like it. I haven't given it to her yet, obviously. Our spending limit was $30 and I wasn't sure I would be able to find her a well made watch for under $100. But with this Timex watch, I think I hit the nail on the head!!
great little watch September 29, 2008
I have been looking for this watch for months, and I finally have it. It has everything I was looking for: classic style, nite lite, and water resistance. I have purchased about 3 watches in the last 12 months that had 1 or 2 of the features previously listed but not all 3. I have had no problem with this watch, and truthfully I have yet to take it off. It holds up to my vigorous work and play routine, and it looks just as good as the day I purchased it. I will purchase this item again.

I really like this watch, it works great..functional, sturdy and looks good too...however, be aware that when it arrives to you, it is HUGE HUGE HUGE!!! I had to spend an extra $15.00 at a jewelers to have multiple links removed so it would fit my wrist properly, but if you look at the cost and add money to remove links you are still saving money in the end. The watch does come with directions to remove the links yourself, but the directions are not for the this model of the watch! Overall, I would recommend this watch to a friend..
Great looking watch June 26, 2008
I bought this watch to replace another Timex watch I had that stopped working. I agree with most of the other owners and say that the band is very large. I took mine to the local Wal-Mart and they removed several of the links for me at no charge. I'm sure if I would have went to a jewelry shop they would have charged me. According to the Timex website this is a $60 watch. I only paid $31 for it so I'm very happy with it. The only problem that I do have is it is hard to adjust the date. It took several times reading the instructions and messing with the watch to figure out how to adjust it. The instructions show that the side comes out way further than it actually does. I finally figured it out but it did take a while. I would definitely recommend this watch.
