Amazon.com Product Description
Timex gives its signature Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport watch a sleek new look that's a great fit for both men and women. Featuring a full complement of athletic timing features and a striking profile, the Timex Triathlon Sleek T5B721 has a metallic silver resin case that's complemented by a uniquely styled, slim profile periwinkle resin strap. It features three alarms that can be set for daily/weekday/weekend/weekly alarms, two time zones, an all-day white reflector display for easy reading even in direct sunlight, and water resistance to 100 meters. Sport timing functions include:
  • 100-hour chronograph with lap/split
  • On-the-fly recall of lap or split
  • Training log stores workouts by date, with best lap, average lap, and total segment time
  • Total run format/synchro timer maintains total activity time (less time paused during workout) and overall running time
  • Automatic interval repetition counter
  • Forward or backward setting
  • Built-in setting reminders
  • Top pusher for easy access to lap and split

The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty good   October 1, 2008
I've been using this watch for about a month now and it has done a good job till now. The one functionality that I find difficult to control is 'stopping'! When I try to stop it, it usually thinks I'm trying to pause and continues timing me. Perhaps I just need to read the instructions a bit more, but this is one thing that you would expect to be intuitive.

3 out of 5 stars don't buy for timer   September 24, 2008
I need a watch for timing things ALL the time, on a daily basis. I bought this watch because it has multiple alarms and a timer that can be set for up to 24 hours. Sounded great, but the timer is a waste of time to set! You have to push four different buttons many times each to set the timer. How ridiculous! I could practically time an egg more efficiently by just standing there and counting to 180. Plus, the watch beeps until you push a button to stop it, so if you have your hands full when it goes off, it just goes on and on and on...
I am returning the watch and getting something else.

5 out of 5 stars Medical Help for Type 1 Diabetic at School   September 24, 2008
This watch is amazing and has been an invaluable tool for our 8 year-old daughter's diabetes care at school. We set the 3 alarms for the 3 different times during the day she needs her blood sugar tested by the school nurse. The teachers love it because whenever the watch beeps, it is time to send our daughter to the nurse... no questions asked & it becomes a natural part of the school day for everyone. We, as parents, love it because we know her blood checks are being done consistently. Mom wears a matching watch & sets the alarms the same, so we know when our daughter is being tested/treated and can check in with the nurse to find out how she is doing. It keeps us in control of her Type 1 Diabetes (for the most part) while she's away from us. TERRIFIC PRODUCT!!

5 out of 5 stars Great watch for run/walk   September 20, 2008
I love this watch. It's a very nice blue color and has all the features I need - chronograph, timer, and most important the dual interval timer. I'm training for a half marathon using a run/walk strategy so this watch is essential to maintain my intervals.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent watch, sketchy band...   September 7, 2008
My family has had 3 of these watches and loved them, but this is the second that has had a "band failure" within a couple months, where the watch separates from the band. It is possible to reattach but it never stays. This requires a return. It may have been just a bad batch...
