This pathfinder watch is well worth it. It will serve for many activities. If you have an adventurous friend or family member and you want to give them a special present. Get them this watch, it could be use in any professional fields. From ARMY special forces to a young boy scout. I will buy it again. The picture of the resin band shows the old stile band, but the watch comes with the resent model resin band. The band that comes with the watch is more attractive.

It is too early for me to write meanigful review on this watch. My initial reaction is it is too bulky and clumsy, I feel like I'm carrying an alarm clock and not a wrist watch!!
Great watch better than Suunto July 4, 2008
I replaced my Suunto observer with this watch and I am glad I did. This is a fantastic watch. Great instruction manual, and it never needs batteries. Lots more features than the Suunto and looks great on my wrist; very easy to read and as you would suspect from casio very reliable. I love Amazon!

Just what was sed so far, alarm is a little quite. Can take a hit well, Cant help but like the solar power charging. Otherwise Everything seems to work well. Seems that it is everything the other reviews already covered.

Ultimate techno-watch. Barometric pressure monitor saved us from biking home in a terrible storm last week. Slim is obviously a relative term. It is slimmer than the standard version of this watch, but is still pretty chunky.
