Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
Kingston Technology's Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) memory card is designed to meet the storage demands of high-quality digital still and video cameras and other high-resolution image recording devices.

With an 8 GB capacity, the SDHC card offers larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. With a Class 6 rating, the card delivers a minimum data transfer rate of 6 MB per second for optimum performance with SDHC devices.

For added reliability and durability, this solid-state SDHC memory card is built of nonvolatile memory components and has no moving parts that could wear out or break. Although identical in size to today's standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices such as cameras and camcorders. Fully compliant with the new Secure Digital Association 2.00 specification, this memory card is backed with a lifetime limited warranty.

5 out of 5 stars Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 6 flash card   October 5, 2008
Product works great in my Pentax Optio W30 (which as far as I can tell does not specify SDHC compatibility to get beyond the 4GB limit of regular SD). Now I have more than enough room on vacations without having to swap cards. Fast save, fast viewing. I am pleased. Kingston costs a bit more but their products tend to be higher quality and grief free.

P.S. YMMV on whether SDHC will work in your pre-SDHC device.

5 out of 5 stars What can be better than a 2 KB memory card?   October 5, 2008
This is the memory card you want for your camera if you are planning a long trip or vacation. It holds over 1200 pictures (at least on my old camera). Oddly enough, I didn't use it on the trip I bought it for, but now use it as I have pictures on my smaller 528 MB card that I don't want to delete yet. Plus, it's always good to have a second card, just in case.

5 out of 5 stars Works as expected   October 4, 2008
Tested with an old SanDisk SD card reader and my LG phone. Works as it should.

5 out of 5 stars Kingston Micro SD   October 3, 2008
More memory, cheap price! What's not to like? I now have three of these Kingston cards, all work flawlessly. The included adapter works well. Just make sure you have a SDHC card reader! I did not have one, and a regular SD card reader will not detect an SDHC, so I had to order a USB SDHC reader as well. Don't worry though, the readers are cheap and well worth it to get the extra storage capacity of an SDHC card.

5 out of 5 stars Works great in my Canon XSi   September 30, 2008
This card works great in both of my Canon cameras (XSi and A590). No problems.
