Vince Young 2005 February 27, 2008 I love the "Dynasty" mode of this game. Call me "Old School" if you like, but where else can someone take the Rice Owls to the Nat'l Championship in 3 seasons? V. Youn is unstoppable in this game, just like he was in the Nat'l Championship!

My Son Tristan Loves this game. Had to buy 2006 because it has one of his favorite players in it. He is 9.
Wow! This game rules December 14, 2006 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
NCAA 2006 is my favorite game out of all twenty-seven. I play Race for the Heisman and I'm always the Michigan Wolverines. This game is great for kids 7 and older. Even parents love it. I play it all the time with my brother! All my friends want to play it when they come over. You definitely want to buy this game.
NCAA Football '06 is Fantastic! August 30, 2006 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I will start with the cons.
For new players to the game (so far that is my only perspective) there is too big a difference between the junior varsity and varsity levels. I have not yet tried the more advanced levels. But as a player that mastered the pro level Maddel 06, I had a hard time beating Hawaii with USC in the varsity level. That brings me to my second complaint, bad teams are better and good teams not as good as you would expect, i.e., the USC-Hawaii game I referenced above. And lastly, there are times where it seems like even my fastest players are running in ankle deep mud.
Pros:
Despite everything said heretofore, I love this game. The "Race for the Heisman" mode is very cool and there is nothing better in the world of sports games than the option, especially when you have a QB like Vince Young. In the heisman mode, players participate in drills to receive scholarship offers. Once you accept an offer you are assigned to a dorm room where you can check standings or stats on your computer, read your college newspaper, study your playbook (through practice drills) and collect trophies in the trophy case.

A very good and fun game. I have no trouble recommending it.
This game rocks!!!!!! July 22, 2006 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is an overall fun game. It has pretty decent graphics, and Race For the Heisman is really cool. The impact players are also pretty sweet. It was worth the $50 bucks I paid for it. The only problems are your defensive backs drop the ball a bit too much, and if you create a team and do a dynasty you start really badly ranked and it's annoying when you are undefeated and still not ranked number one.(I started out ranked like 116 and was undefeated and ended up like 6th so close enough). I also one time was ranked 24th and beat the number one ranked team and only moved up one ranking. But overall this is an awesome game and if you like college football you should buy it.
