Great reference November 23, 2007 PDA version is just as good if not better than the hardcopy. It can be updated and all the information is in one handy spot.
A life Saver November 15, 2007 Nursing school is a lot of work. This drug reference guide is a lifesaver when doing med cards. The CD is a must for copying and pasting drug info and saved me so much time, I recommend this one. My other book which was required by my nursing program, had a CD but it didn't allow copying and pasting. I decided to buy this book because another student had it and at this stage of the game, I didn't care if I spent more money. All I wanted was to be able to save myself hours of time. The book is also good for the info we need for drug reference.
Very helpful, awesome CD, great for nursing students November 7, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The CD included in the book has been so helpful. There are 750 drugs ready to be cut and pasted into care plans. As a student, the more quickly I can enter information the better off I am. Compared to other drug books there may be some things I like better (although I can't think of what they are, which should tell you something), but again, the CD is fantastic. (The CD included in the Lippincott book was not helpful to me.)
NURSES PHARMACY BOOK October 22, 2007 I FIRST CAME ACROSS THIS REFERENCE BOOK TEN YEARS AGO, IN MY OPINION IT IS BY FAR THE BEST NURSING REFERENCE BOOK CONCERNING DRUGS OUT THERE. ALWAYS UP TO DATE, AND BETTER THAN SOME OF THE REFERENCE BOOKS THE MD'S USE. WHICH ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION I'VE CAUGHT ED DR'S PRESCRIBING THE WRONG DOSAGES ON DRUGS.
Great Information!!! October 5, 2007 I had the older edition of this book and needed the newer addition for school. This is a great book, easy to use and I would definately recommend it. Worth every penny. The best drug guide for nurses available in my opinion.
