Erik Lawrence's 'Tactical Pistol Shooting' is sure to be an instant classic. At first glance, the reader will immediately grasp that the principles and techniques layed out by Lawrence are based upon real-world experience. It is the first, true, soup-to-nuts guide to tactical pistol shooting.

As a federal agent and a prior police officer, I loved this book. It is concise, well illustrated, and straight to the point. If you can only read one book, and you need to learn tactics and techniques that could save your life, this is it. This author puts out a good book, and I just wish I could train with him. The only negative, it should have been longer so that it would have more time to read. The people he list as reading and critiquing the book are real world players who have tested this stuff in combat, especially Tom Wilburn. Soldiers, police officers, and civilians will learn an effective way to protect their lives.
