Climbing Higher by Montel Williams May 27, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Climbing Higher This is a must read for anyone who has MS or has a friend or family member with MS. Montel Williams explains exactly how some of us feel and we don't know how to explain it to other people. There were parts in this book where I said out loud, "This is ME and I'm not alone in how I feel"!!! What a great feeling to know that you are not the only one who has these symptoms and exacerbations of this dreaded disease. It's fast reading and I've read it twice and the book is nearby to read it again. I'm also offering it to other people to read to try to understand my health problems.
I highly recommend this book!!!

I WAS JUST DIAGNOSED WITH MS A FEW MO0NTHS AGO. I REALLY ENJOYED READING MONTEL'S BOOK. HE WAS SAYING A LOT OF WHAT I AM FEELING, BUT DID NOT KNOW HOW TO TELL ANYONE. I AM HAVING MY FAMILY READ THIS, AND MAYBE THEY WILL UNDERSTAND SOME OF WHAT I FEEL.

Excellent! Written in such a manner that all can understand what goes on in the life of someone suffering from MS.
Telling It Like It Is March 23, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Montel Williams tells it like it is in no uncertain terms what it is like having MS and living with it. A blunt yet well done book.

Really helped me know more about Montel and his battle with Multiple Sclerosis. This is a book about him & MS secondarily. Excellent writing, too.
