Had to keep reading November 16, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I found Motor City Dream Garages by Rex Roy to be highly enjoyable > reading. Roy not only escorted the reader through some fantastic > garages, he also gave us an inside look at the stories and passions of > the garage owners. As a reader I finished one chapter but was > compelled by the content and my curiosity to go to the next until I > had completed the book in one sitting. The text was as well written as > the pictures were stunning. For anyone who loves cars or just owns a > coffee table, Motor City Dream Garages is a "must purchase". Doug Schmidt
Outstanding Collection November 15, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
What an outstanding collection of great pictures and well written descriptions guaranteed to capture the heart of every car enthusiast. Motor City Dream Garages by Rex Roy is an example of great art and great journalism combined to share with friends and relatives. I look forward to seeing this book all around the "Motor City" and coffee tables everywhere.

I am a Motor City guy (now living in Wisconsin) and I really love Ultimate Garages by Phil Berg. I bought this book to fill my craving for more cool garage stories and photographs. Motor City Dream Garages didn't quite hit the spot. It is a decent book but the original garage book (Ultimate Garages) is still the best.
