It's great but heavy! June 26, 2008
I purchased this cover last summer to protect a new grill through the winter. It worked fine. Very heavy duty. I has held up well to rain, snow, sun and wind. The handle grips on the ends are great. The locking straps for the legs are a nice touch though honestly, I don't believe it could blow off with anything short of a tornado. My only criticism is actually also a benefit-- that is that it is too heavy and cumbersome to take it off by myself since it needs to be lifted straight up to get it over the edges of the grill. Perhaps buying one that is a little longer than the grill would help. This one was about 4" longer than the grill. As for the weight, I have teased my husband and told him he should buy the largest size to cover our tractor/mower. I'm only half kidding.

Grill cover is constructed of very heavy-duty fabric and is extremely well made. The straps that secure the cover to all 4 legs works great and really secures it on windy days so it won't fly off and the weight of the cover helps in ballooning. Easy off and on with handles makes it a snap to position. This cover is so much better than the flimsy vinyl covers that come with most grills that you can't even compare the two. The vinyl cover that came with my Aussie grill didn't even last through it's first winter with all the snow, ice and temperature changes and was full of tears by spring. This cover is a great bargain and looks to hold up for a long time in all kinds of weather conditions. I can't believe it was so inexpensive and I can't imagine that there is a better grill cover out there. If you buy this cover you will not be disappointed.
