Big balls, Small price... March 12, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Hi. i am an amateur golfer with a 18 handicap. i have been using these BetaTi balls because I cannot worry about wasting $1.00 Plus golf balls. To my surprise, the more I play with them, the more I get used to the way they react to my way of playing. I have hit these babies 300 plus yards. I hit a green in one on a 350 par four in Costa Caribe Golf in Ponce, PR. It doesnt happen often, but these babies fly and feel soft off the tee. I tried the famous titleist pro V1 and have not hit them that far. Try them, since they are so economical, you will hit the ball with more confidence without the worry of losing a couple of them in the bushes.
Great for older golfers December 29, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Great for golfers over the hill! I accually increased my distance by using a softer ball. That gives me the confidence to ease up my swing and improve my game. I highly recommend this ball for those who find they cannot hit the ball as far as they did earlier in their life.

I love the noble game of golf even though I always thought I was more the polo type, but then, Old Flossie died and I had to pursue a new sport.
Although I am thoroughly bitten by the golf bug, I have yet to become that good at it, which means that I lose a lot of golf balls--a lot. (Just have to improve my grip, swing, long game, short game and putting).
With such a loss of balls...(?) With such a loss of golf balls, the important thing is that you get thirty-six. Even if one lands in the bushes, the pond, someone's bedroom window or barbeque, or you just get an extra bounce from the cart path, there's always more. And they are cheap.
I don't care if the core is made of bilium, if it has high compression, or will add distance or fade to my shots. All these things will happen by accident, and when I least expect it.
These would be better if they were luminescent yellow, the mark of a true amateur. (They're even easier to find).
I can guarantee that these golf balls will not:
o make you able to play with one ball for the whole game
o prevent Mulligans
o prevent you from taking more than one club out of your bag
o prevent it from being your turn consecutively
o bring your game below 100.
This is a smart buy for scratch golfers or high handicappers--very high.
FORE! FIVE! SIX!
Amazing balls September 16, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Earlier this summer I was running low on money so I purchased these golf balls because they were cheap. I was afraid they were going to be bad because of that. However these balls play excellent. They go just as far as the ProV1 and also putt well and spin. I kid you not I got a hole in one on a par four with an Intech golf ball. I actually refuse to play anything else. Give these balls a try at 16$ its a steal! Good luck, and birdie!
Why buy more expensive September 12, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have played with a number of different balls, and these beta Ti balls go as far as any others. Subjectively, it seems that more of my balls stay on the fairway when I hit these off the tee, although that may only be my perception. Certainly I can not notice any difference in my game when I use these, although I am not a scratch golfer by far. The other advantage is that at this price, it does not hurt me twice when I lose a ball, like it does when I lose a more expensive ball.
